Track 8

Fuzzy logic Systems

Fuzzy Logic (FL) is a technique of perceptive that look like human reasoning. It emulates the means of decision creation in humans that includes all intermediate prospects between digital values YES and NO. Fuzzy logic can be applied to non-engineering uses as shown in the stock trading application and also has been used in medical diagnosis systems and in handwriting recognition applications. A fuzzy logic system can be applied to almost any type of system that has inputs and outputs, as they are fine suited to nonlinear systems and systems that have several inputs and many outputs. And an understandable number of inputs and outputs can be accommodated. It can switch machines and consumer products.

Fuzzy logic is useful for commercial and practical purposes so that it can control machines and consumer products, it may not give accurate reasoning, but acceptable reasoning and it also helps to deal with the uncertainty in engineering.
